The EO EV Charger Installation Process
An electrician will visit the customer’s location to assess the site and determine the best placement for the charger. This includes considering the proximity to the main electrical panel, the type of electric vehicle the charger will be used with, and any local building codes and regulations that must be adhered to.
The electrician will prepare the site for installation, including verifying the electrical capacity and updating any necessary electrical connections. This may involve installing additional wiring, circuit breakers, or a dedicated circuit to ensure the charger functions safely and efficiently.
The electrician will then make the necessary electrical connections to install the EO EV charger. This may include running a conduit for wiring, connecting the charger to the electrical panel, and mounting the charger on the wall or ground.
Once the electrical connections have been made, the electrician will mount the EO EV charger securely in the selected location. This may involve securing the charger to a wall or a post, and ensuring that the charger is level and in the correct position.
Testing and Commissioning
Before leaving the site, the electrician will test the charger to ensure it is functioning properly. This includes testing the charger’s connectivity to the vehicle, checking the charging speed and monitoring the electrical connections to make sure they are safe and secure.
Finally, the electrician will provide the customer with a brief training session on how to use the EO EV charger. This includes demonstrating how to connect the vehicle, checking the charging status, and providing advice on how to care for the charger to ensure it continues to function effectively over time.
